Harris County Young Democrats Endorse Kinky Friedman for Texas Agricultural Commissioner
Houston, Harris County, Texas - May 19th, 2014 - Last week on Tuesday, May 13th, the Harris County Young Democrats interviewed Kinky Friedman with no response from his opponent. The Young Democrats made an endorsement to support Kinky Friedman for his run for Texas Agricultural Commissioner. Mr. Friedman will be the best person in the position to help advocate for a better Texas.
This position is important because on the Republican side, Former Representative Sid Miller (R) in 2011 authored House Bill 15, requiring a woman to undergo a intrusive trans-vaginal sonogram prior to undergoing an abortion.
In support for Kinky Friedman's campaign, we will send out robocalls and have a phone bank for him on Thursday, May 22nd from 6pm-9pm in the 3rd Floor Conference Room at 1445 North Loop West, Houston, Texas 77008. We need the support from everyone to help, even if it's just for one hour.
